7th Amendment (Full Text)
"In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law."
The 7th amendment extends the right to a jury to civil cases like car accidents and disputes between corporations for breach of contract, or most discrimination or employment disputes. The 7th amendment affects teens by protecting their right to a jury if they are in a car crash (etc.) caused by them or otherwise.
